Since were being honest you’re not lazy or stuk...you're just overworked and have been pushing yourself to hard.
If creating has been feeling heavy, forced, or like something you keep putting off… that’s not a discipline issue. That’s burnout.
And a lot of creatives hit this point because we’re doing everything at once between filming, editing, planning, posting, thinking of new ideas, admin work, and trying to stay consistent on top of that. That’s a fast way to run yourself into the ground.
What burnout actually feels like
It’s not always obvious. Sometimes it looks like:
You don’t feel excited to create anymore
You keep procrastinating content
Everything starts to feel like a chore
You’re scrolling more than you’re creating
If that’s you, it just means you need a reset, not that you need to quit.
How to fix it without falling off
1. Stop trying to create every day: Pick 1–2 days to film your content and be done. You don’t need to be “on” all week to stay consistent.
2. Keep your content simple: Everything doesn’t have to be perfectly edited. Some of the best content is quick, real, and straight to the point.
3. Build a basic system: Have a flow: ideas → rough draft → finalize→ post. When you know what step you’re in, it takes the pressure off.
4. Take a real break: Not a I'll take a night off. Not light work. An actual break. You’ll come back better, every time.
To be honest you don’t need to push harder, use it as a opportunity to move more strategic. Burnout isn’t a sign to stop. It’s a sign to switch how you’re doing things. when you fix your process everything else gets easier.
